About the role
The Cashier position at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Fes is responsible for handling all guest payments and bank transactions in accordance with hotel accounting policies. The role ensures accurate cash handling, maintains a secure workstation, and delivers courteous service to guests throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Process all payment methods (cash, credit, debit) following established accounting procedures.
- Perform blind drops, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
- Secure and transport the bank to and from the assigned workstation.
- Set up and maintain a clean, fully stocked cashier workstation.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, and uphold Marriott’s hospitality standards.
- Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior cash handling experience required.
Required skills
- Cash handling and bank drop procedures.
- Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic computer use.
