Clinical Demand Specialist - North and West Africa

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Clinical Demand Specialist to lead the adoption and utilization of the B·R·A·H·M·S Procalcitonin (PCT) assay across North and West Africa. You will work directly with hospitals, licensed partners, and distributors to increase testing volumes, support sepsis management protocols, and drive antibiotic stewardship initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Promote B·R·A·H·M·S PCT testing in target hospitals, focusing on sepsis management and antibiotic stewardship.
• Increase test utilization through structured clinical engagement, education, and follow‑up activities.
• Collaborate with licensed partners and distributors to strengthen execution and drive growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, hospital stakeholders, and medical societies.
• Lead clinical education events such as workshops, congresses, roadshows, and trainings.
• Identify market opportunities, monitor competition and regulatory developments, and provide actionable insights.
• Align with Commercial and Marketing teams on priorities, strategy, and annual operating plan delivery.
• Support broader SDG clinical demand initiatives and cross‑divisional projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to drive clinical adoption, utilization, or demand generation.
• Experience working with distributors or indirect commercial models (preferred).
• Strong clinical and commercial acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently across a multi‑country environment.
• Fluency in French and English.
