Country Manager – Morocco (Destination Management Company)

About the role

Magic Travels is launching a new Destination Management Company office in Morocco and seeks an experienced senior professional to build and lead the operation. This founder‑style role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution in a premium travel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the Morocco office from scratch, including legal entity, hiring, processes and daily operations.
• Negotiate and secure contracts with hotels, transport providers, guides and other local suppliers.
• Develop a portfolio of premium, tailor‑made travel products and experiences for international source markets.
• Own the commercial relationship with European and other international partners.
• Manage the local P&L, budgeting and supplier cost control.
• Recruit, train and lead a local team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior/leadership experience in a DMC or inbound tour operator.
• Deep knowledge of the Moroccan destination and an established network of local suppliers.
• Proven track record in contracting, production and high‑end product development.
• Experience working with European or other international source markets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building a business from the ground up.
• Fluent in French and English; Arabic is a strong plus.
• Based in Morocco (Casablanca or Marrakech) or willing to relocate.
