Customs Clearance Administrator

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding, the air, ocean and road freight specialist of Deutsche Post DHL, as a Customs Clearance Administrator in Morocco. You will support the administration of customs and trade‑compliance activities, ensuring freight documentation is cleared efficiently through the relevant authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for import/export documentation, including receiving, reconciling, consolidating and summarising documents.
• Enter data into customs operating systems and set up master data for transactions.
• Conduct pre‑alert screenings, update standard operating procedures and support archiving processes.
• File customs entries, perform post‑entry activities and maintain customer part lists.
• Track performance targets, update shipment information and physical status records.
• Research duty, tax and billing discrepancies raised by internal and external customers.
• Carry out quality audits and best‑practice reviews to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare reports and performance updates for monitoring purposes.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and support the application of customs policies.
• Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate clearance and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Experience in customs clearance and trade‑compliance processes.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
