Data Engineer

About the role

IDEMIA is looking for a Data Engineer to design and implement best‑in‑class data architecture that supports its global identity and security solutions. You will work on the full data lifecycle, building robust, scalable pipelines that feed analytics and decision tools across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines on a daily basis, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Implement a modern data platform including data lakes, warehouses, marts, and operational stores.
• Design and manage ingress patterns such as APIs, streaming, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Provide egress solutions for BI tools, analytics, and decision‑making applications.
• Apply data security, governance, and DevOps practices throughout the architecture.
• Continuously adapt the architecture for traceability, transparency, measurability, and security.
• Collaborate with Product and Business Analytics teams to deliver roadmap features.
• Coach less experienced data engineers.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data lifecycle from collection to industrialization.
• Ability to work autonomously on full data transformation projects.
• Experience designing adaptive, scalable architectures in demanding environments.
