Déclarant en douane – Gestion des formalités d'import/export

About the role

The Customs Declarant will ensure smooth clearance of import and export shipments for SEWS CABIND in Morocco. You will manage documentation, verify compliance with customs regulations, and support internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify customs clearance dossiers for conformity with transit regulations.
• Check RED accounts and other customs regimes, ensuring accurate declarations by freight forwarders.
• Validate exported and imported goods, monitor customs procedures, and control documentation.
• Analyze customs system data, report anomalies, and ensure timely regularisation.
• Produce weekly and monthly dashboards covering transit activity, RED accounts, and corrective actions.
• Reconcile customs records with physical stock and archive all import‑export documents.
• Manage electronic archives using AXIVAR, editing documents according to established procedures.
• Prepare ad‑hoc transit situations and respond to internal or external audit requests.
• Uphold the company’s Code of Ethics and HSE standards, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2/3) in logistics, international trade or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customs clearance or international trade.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, analytical mindset, and capacity to manage crisis situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with customs software tools and electronic archiving (AXIVAR).
• In‑depth knowledge of customs legislation, import‑export procedures, and fiscal regulations.
• Understanding of international business law and customs‑related tax matters.
