EE Control Architect

About the role

ALTEN Maroc, a subsidiary of the global engineering and technology consulting firm ALTEN, is hiring an EE Control Architect in Fes. The role defines and maintains the electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture of vehicles, working with Vehicle System Architects, Infrastructure Architects and other project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional changes and their impact on the E/E architecture, and contribute to E/E allocation concepts and architecture definition.
• Ensure consistency between functional specifications, subsystem allocations and the E/E baseline architecture.
• Take part in Design Groups and support the implementation of project requirements from functional design to E/E architecture deliverables.
• Build and maintain E/E interface synthesis and system mapping documentation, and verify that subsystem allocations comply with component, infrastructure and vehicle architecture constraints.
• Analyze operational and timing requirements to meet E/E performance targets, and contribute to Functional Safety and Cybersecurity architecture activities.
• Define and maintain E/E Architecture Design (EEAD), Interface Design Files (DCI) and related documentation, and manage product diversity across vehicle configurations.
• Perform technical analyses, provide architecture recommendations and design justifications, and use CATIA V6, ENOVIA, EEA, VISION and OSACA to develop and review E/E architecture data.

Required profile

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems.
• Confirmed experience (5 to 10 years) in automotive E/E architecture and subsystem design.
• Knowledge of functional architecture analysis, system allocation, interface management and vehicle domains such as Cockpit, Body, Chassis, ADAS, Infotainment and Connected Services.
• Understanding of the automotive V-Cycle, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity concepts.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
