Ergonomics & Lean Support Specialist

About the role

STMicroelectronics is looking for an Ergonomics & Lean Support Specialist to improve workplace conditions, enhance employee safety and drive continuous improvement in its Bouskoura facility. The role combines ergonomic assessments with Lean manufacturing initiatives to boost productivity and operational stability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools and tasks, identifying risks related to posture, force and repetitive motions.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve comfort, safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, safety, engineering and HR teams on ergonomic improvements and new process designs.
• Support Lean initiatives such as waste reduction, standard work, 5S, Kaizen and value‑stream mapping.
• Participate in process analysis, layout optimisation and material‑flow improvement projects.
• Prepare reports, KPIs and recommendations for continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Proven experience in ergonomics and industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean tools and methodologies.
