Financial Controlling Manager

About the role

Support the Country Finance Organization for overall financial planning, analysis and controlling of Morocco. Lead the Accounting Organization and ensure consistency and delivery of global financial performance while adhering to country KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and analyse global financial performance, ensuring accuracy and consistency of all financial KPIs.
• Supervise monthly actual financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Lead monthly and yearly tax declaration processes.
• Drive the forecast and budget process for the country.
• Communicate and supervise financial performance with business partners and stakeholders.
• Prepare financial presentations, reports and analyses for local and regional management.
• Support the Country Finance Director in business controlling and local compliance.
• Support project controlling activities and provide ad‑hoc financial analysis when requested.
• Assist tender activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance.
• More than 10 years of experience in finance, including controlling, reporting, accounting and FP&A.
• Experience in the transportation or construction sector is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to operate in a multinational, complex environment and manage stakeholder networks.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance controlling.
• Experience in accounting management and team leadership.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, local statutory standards and local tax legislation.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively with senior management.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
