Flying Engineer – Vehicle Modernization

About the role

The Flying Engineer will carry out vehicle modernization activities, prepare the required hardware, software and configurations, perform network data acquisitions and contribute to fault analysis. The role also involves identifying electrical non‑conformities, documenting issues, ensuring traceability of interventions and participating in project ceremonies.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle modernization activities such as ZIZA, telecoding, JDD, etc.
• Prepare hardware, software and configurations required for interventions.
• Perform network data acquisitions and contribute to fault analysis.
• Identify electrical non‑conformities and contribute to diagnostics.
• Document and report faults and technical issues to relevant teams.
• Ensure traceability of all completed interventions.
• Participate in project ceremonies and contribute to the professional knowledge base.
• Anticipate technical challenges and propose appropriate solutions.

Required profile

• General knowledge of ICE, xEV, Infotainment, and ADAS vehicles.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures and ability to read electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and analysis tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, Diagalyser, IDVH.
• Knowledge of DOTI, PLM, CESARE, CVMP, and Redbent tools.
• Proficiency in computer tools and strong analytical skills.
