General Ledger and Reporting Accountant

About the role

As a member of the Group Finance Department reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will own the Record‑to‑Report (R2R) cycle for one or several international entities. The position focuses on accounting quality, regulatory compliance and the convergence of IFRS with local GAAP, starting with the Moroccan entity and later expanding to Swiss and other European subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate general ledger records for assigned entities in the Unit4 ERP system.
• Post month‑end and year‑end journal entries, perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash accounts.
• Prepare and file local tax declarations, coordinate with external tax advisors and handle tax audits.
• Execute monthly close activities, produce trial balances, analyze variances and prepare reporting packages for Group consolidation.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS, and support external auditors.
• Ensure alignment between local accounting standards and the Group IFRS framework, creating bridge schedules and documenting restatements.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English for all Group communications and documentation.
• Experience in full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close and statutory reporting for international entities.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and ability to work with external advisors.
• Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP convergence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Unit4 ERP.
• Professional level English communication.
