Hardware-In-the-Loop Engineer for Body/Brain

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco, a leading engineering and technology consulting firm, is expanding its automotive team in Rabat. The Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HIL) Engineer will focus on Body/Brain electronic control units, ensuring realistic testing environments for vehicle development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain HIL environments for BRAIN ECUs.
• Set up I/O channels, create I/O simulation models, and perform rest‑of‑bus simulation using SoftECUs.
• Configure component and subsystem HIL simulators to match vehicle architecture.
• Develop and verify HIL setups for reproducing anomalies and supporting troubleshooting activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in HIL engineering for automotive applications.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Body vehicle features (optional).

Required skills

• MATLAB/Simulink (experience with dSPACE toolchain is a plus).
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands‑on experience with HIL simulation environments.
