Hardware System Engineer – Automotive HV Power Electronics

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco is seeking a senior Hardware System Engineer with extensive experience in automotive high‑voltage power electronics. The role involves leading hardware teams, defining system concepts, and ensuring technical alignment with customers and suppliers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CR analysis and troubleshooting of high‑voltage power electronics systems.
• Define concepts and lead technical design for inverter hardware and software.
• Provide technical leadership on both hardware and software engineering competencies.
• Manage a team of hardware engineers to advance system‑level inverter design.
• Handle change request management and validate technical definitions with customers.
• Collaborate closely with component suppliers to guarantee quality and alignment.
• Travel to Milan and Brussels approximately once every two months for project coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive high‑voltage power electronics.
• Proven technical leadership on hardware and software engineering.
• Strong ability to work in an international European team; fluent English is mandatory.
