Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the high quality standards of The Ritz‑Carlton Rabat. This full‑time, onsite position coordinates housekeeping activities, monitors room status and supports the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update departing‑guest room status and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues.
• Document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk.
• Assist housekeeping management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report maintenance problems and safety hazards.
• Welcome guests, address service needs and ensure a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb (with assistance for heavier items) and to work on uneven surfaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Basic computer literacy for entering and locating work‑related information.
