HSEQ Specialist

About the role

The HSEQ Specialist will support Jotun Maroc in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will advise on health, safety, environment and quality matters and help embed the company’s HSEQ Management System across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Jotun’s HSEQ policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and the internal HSEQ Management System.
• Maintain and update all required HSEQ documentation and ensure it is readily available.
• Collaborate with Element Owners to support the rollout of the HSEQ management system.
• Lead and coordinate specialist HSEQ projects to deliver measurable improvements.
• Manage ISO and HSEQ system documents, drive audits and follow‑up corrective actions to retain accreditation.
• Deliver HSEQ training programmes to raise awareness throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an HSEQ or quality management role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 45001, and proven audit experience.
• Familiarity with Moroccan occupational health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic, French and English.
