Inbound Advisor

About the role

The Human Resources & Administration department is looking for an Inbound Advisor to act as the main campus point of contact for international undergraduate and graduate students, including visiting scholars. The role involves promoting inbound mobility programmes, ensuring student satisfaction, and supporting the Office of International Programs (OIP).

Key responsibilities

• Correspond with international students and partner‑university coordinators via email regarding policies, procedures, and programme details.
• Coordinate and manage exchange applications, student inquiries, and preparation for study at AUI.
• Process applications for other international or special programmes and keep OIP databases up to date.
• Resolve student problems and complaints, escalating serious issues to the director.
• Assist with OIP activities such as orientation events and study‑abroad fairs.
• Support the director in designing procedures, forms, and policies for smooth OIP operations.
• Coordinate Erasmus+ programme activities and advise on administrative policies related to study abroad.
• Develop invoicing pages for new agreements and maintain strong relationships with exchange partners.
• Review incoming student applications, recommend actions, and coordinate with the business office and enrollment services.
• Maintain communication channels (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp) for each semester and mentor students through the orientation process.

Required profile

• Internal applicants must have prior written approval from the Dean/Director or Head of Department.
• Open to internal permanent full‑time staff members and external candidates.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to manage multiple student enquiries.
• Experience with international student advising or mobility programmes is desirable.
