Inventory Specialist

About the role

Copart is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage vehicle inventory at one of its facilities. You will document vehicle condition, capture photographs, and ensure smooth flow of traffic in the receiving area.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual ability a plus.

Required skills

• Handheld inventory device operation.
• Camera operation for vehicle photography.
• Basic computer proficiency.
