IT Data & AI Intern (PFE)

About the role

A leading global automotive company is looking for a highly motivated IT Data & AI intern to join its IT department. The internship gives hands-on exposure to data analytics, AI solutions and digital transformation projects, working closely with IT and business stakeholders on the design and testing of data-driven solutions, from business requirements and data assessment through prototype development to performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Data & AI solutions: support the design and development of data analytics and AI prototypes, assess data availability, quality and source reliability, test solutions against representative business cases and turn results into actionable insights.
• Business intelligence and reporting: contribute to dashboards and automated reporting, consolidate and analyze KPIs, and support clear, traceable reporting outputs.
• IT and process analysis: map business processes, systems, data flows and functional requirements, identify pain points and opportunities for digitalization, and help define success criteria and improvement recommendations.
• Data governance and solution design: document solution architecture, data requirements, security and governance needs, and ensure solutions are reliable, explainable and aligned with business requirements.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree (or equivalent) in IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Strong interest in IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and good understanding of data quality, governance and information security principles.
• Fluent professional English and French.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data visualization, BI or analytics tools; knowledge of Power BI, Grafana or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills, and ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
