Junior Automation Specialist

About the role

JHC Consulting is seeking a Junior Automation Specialist to support its advisory team by building technical frameworks that extract, organise and verify data for formal memoranda. The role focuses on automating information collection so analysts can concentrate on strategic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python scripts to scrape data from internal records and external sources.
• Organise large document sets and ensure data is clean, accurate and audit‑ready.
• Create automated checks that validate the integrity of facts used in advisory memoranda.
• Collaborate with analysts to understand data needs and deliver reliable tools.
• Document scripts and processes in clear, non‑technical language for peer review.

Required profile

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Professional writing style capable of explaining technical processes in plain English.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting.
• Familiarity with data extraction and document processing techniques.
