Junior Compliance Officer – Independence

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Compliance Officer – Independence to join our Marrakech office. You will support the network in managing conflicts of interest and ensuring independence across engagements, working closely with senior colleagues to develop your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Review and summarise conflicts of interest checks received from the network.
• Initiate requests for conflicts of interest checks to be performed by network firms.
• Assist engagement teams with conflict‑of‑interest related queries.
• Liaise with engagement teams, escalating issues promptly when needed.
• Contribute to independence controls within the firm’s quality management system.
• Participate in training and mentorship programmes to become a recognised compliance expert.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Law, Risk/Compliance or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• 0–2 years of experience in audit, risk, compliance, legal or a similar role.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools and the ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
