Junior Project Management Officer (PMO)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Management Officer to support our project teams in Morocco. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on cybersecurity, AI, governance, and digital transformation initiatives while developing core PMO competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and monitoring of projects.
• Organise project meetings, capture minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Maintain project plans, documentation, dashboards, and Jira boards.
• Track progress, deliverables, risks, and milestones; prepare status reports.
• Write acceptance criteria based on Development Leads' input.
• Draft and update Sprint Burndown Charts.
• Ensure adherence to project governance and PMO processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required profile

• Based in Morocco with a Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, PMO or related roles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Agile and Scrum methodology knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Jira (or similar issue‑tracking tools).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project (or comparable planning tools).
