Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen & Laundry Technician is responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on kitchen, laundry and building equipment. This full‑time, onsite position ensures that all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines; identify and operate shut‑off valves.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
• Program TV systems, manage housekeeping and engineering inventory.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler maintenance.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Physical capability to lift/move objects up to 50 lb and assist with heavier items when required.
