Lean Management Engineer

About the role

The Lean Management Engineer will drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations by designing efficient plant layouts, optimizing processes, and ensuring that all changes deliver measurable value. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into practical, data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and validate layouts for new projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Assess and prioritize risks associated with process changes, highlighting cost‑benefit analyses.
• Provide simulations and visualisations of layout proposals to support decision‑making.
• Identify improvement projects across all operational areas to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate the execution of layout changes and line installations with relevant stakeholders.
• Calculate Free Production Space (FPS) regularly to optimise plant utilisation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or engineering degree.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies (PDCA, 5S, SFM, VSW, etc.).
• Solid understanding of business procedures, process optimisation, and ROI calculation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, especially regarding dimensions, quantities, and technical accuracy.
• Good command of English and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Process optimisation and business process analysis.
• ROI data preparation and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Spatial geometry, perspective drawing, and 3D visualisation.
• CAD software (2D and 3D) for creating and managing technical drawings.
• Free Production Space (FPS) calculation.
