Logistics Customs Associate

About the role

JTI is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics & Customs Associate to join its Manufacturing Services Department in Tetouan, Morocco. The role focuses on managing the movement of raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods while ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of materials and goods.
• Coordinate daily logistics activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and internal teams.
• Manage customs clearance in accordance with Moroccan regulations and import/export requirements.
• Verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, etc.) and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Maintain shipment tracking tools and prepare regular logistics and customs reports.
• Monitor transportation, customs, storage and clearance costs and support invoice processing.
• Contribute to logistics, customs and factory KPIs and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and customs‑related functions.

Required skills

• Supply chain management knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Moroccan customs regulations and procedures.
• Stakeholder coordination and management.
• Shipment monitoring and logistics reporting.
• Understanding of import and export documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• SAP knowledge (plus).
