Maintenance Technician

About the role

Magna is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of automated and robotic production equipment in a multinational industrial setting. You will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and production continuity while supporting various mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise automated and robotic production equipment.
• Support the double‑rail air handling system: troubleshoot, reset, and address breakdowns.
• Control assigned welding lines and perform corrective adjustments.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on production lines.
• Maintain and update load programs, robot backups, and identified software.
• Prepare daily activity reports and perform accumulator withdrawal checks.
• Carry out electronic repairs on reusable parts in the workshop.
• Perform minor electrical installation modifications under manager supervision.

Required profile

• Technician specialised in electromechanics of automated systems or industrial robotics.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation and maintenance practices.
• Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy and effective teamwork.
