Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer, where you will design, develop, and validate manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and performance targets while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate new manufacturing processes; optimize existing processes to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance yield.
• Support industrialization of new products from prototype to mass production, creating process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and work instructions.
• Provide technical support to daily operations, conduct root‑cause analysis using 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, and implement corrective actions.
• Define equipment and tooling requirements, commission new machines, and improve machine performance through upgrades and parameter optimization.

Required profile

• Engineering or master’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical or automation engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the automotive cable‑assembly sector.
• Familiarity with automotive core tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D and IATF 16949.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
