Market Development Lead – Morocco

About the role

HOSTAFRICA is preparing to launch its digital services business in Morocco and seeks an entrepreneurial Market Development Lead to act as the local representative. You will shape the market‑entry strategy, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive growth of hosting, domain, cloud and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute HOSTAFRICA’s market‑entry and growth plan for Morocco.
• Analyse the local hosting, domains, cloud and digital‑services landscape to identify customer segments, competitors, pricing expectations and opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with businesses, developers, agencies, entrepreneurs and technology communities.
• Identify and develop partnerships, sales channels and local marketing initiatives.
• Represent HOSTAFRICA at technology and business events.
• Provide localisation input for Moroccan customers, including language and market practices.
• Assess resource needs, recruit or coordinate local talent, and manage any hired resources.
• Generate and test ideas for customer acquisition and brand building.

Required profile

• Strong entrepreneurial drive with a desire to build a new business.
• Good understanding of doing business in Morocco.
• Proven business‑development and commercial skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and turn ideas into actions.
• Excellent networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Fluent French and Arabic; strong working English.
• Experience in web hosting, domains, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, telecoms, IT services or related digital sectors (preferred but not mandatory).
