Marketing & Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a creative, detail‑oriented Marketing & Communications Manager to join the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech team. The role will drive the department’s strategic vision by coordinating and executing marketing, public relations and digital initiatives while ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Define creative direction for photo and video shoots, approve shot lists and final edits to maintain brand alignment.
• Supervise the production of marketing and communication collaterals, validate print quality and delivery.
• Oversee media and influencer collaborations, approve press materials and nurture relationships with key media partners.
• Lead the implementation of global and local digital campaigns, coordinating with agencies and corporate digital teams.
• Set content direction, visual mood and editorial tone for social media, approve monthly content calendars.
• Guide eDM planning and creative direction to ensure effective guest communication.
• Manage the Marketing & Communications Coordinator and Graphic Designer, providing coaching and oversight.
• Review monthly performance reports, consolidate insights and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing or communications, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Strong creative vision with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
