Night Manager – Overnight Property Operations

About the role

The Night Manager I serves as the Property Manager on Duty during the overnight shift, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and service. This role represents property management in resolving guest and property issues and oversees all operational activities throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with operational guidelines, employee uniform standards, and safety protocols.
• Manage period‑end inventories and ensure accurate cash handling, including monitoring overages/shortages.
• Review financial statements, sales reports, and activity data to support profitability and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Assist Guest Relations in resolving guest issues and coordinate with accounts receivable to keep invoices under 60 days.
• Oversee chargebacks and rebates, ensuring timely processing and minimal losses.
• Manage employee hours, attendance, and payroll processing on a weekly basis.
• Promote safety programs, employee morale, and teamwork while handling performance reviews and counseling.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related area.
• OR an associate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
