Operations Manager – Outbound Sales

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to lead our Outbound Sales team within TELUS Small Medium Business. You will own both the customer experience and the sales outcome, coaching specialists to turn every call into a revenue opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Outbound Sales Specialists, driving productivity, conversion, and revenue targets.
• Manage pipeline health, ensuring opportunities are qualified, followed up, and advanced with minimal leakage.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end outbound sales journey from campaign launch to first‑bill review.
• Provide regular 1:1 coaching, real‑time call feedback, and performance reviews.
• Analyze lead and lag KPIs (connect rates, conversion, talk time, etc.) to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Develop top talent, building a bench of future sales leaders.
• Translate TELUS product and campaign strategy into clear, actionable direction for the team.
• Partner with Sales, Workforce Operations, Enablement, Quality, and Analytics to remove barriers and improve the customer journey.

Required profile

• Proven people‑leadership experience in a high‑volume outbound sales environment.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Ability to balance customer experience with aggressive sales goals.
• Data‑driven mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to align cross‑functional teams.
