About the role
The Payroll and Personal Affairs Specialist is responsible for managing payroll operations and supporting personal affairs matters across the organization. This position requires high accuracy, confidentiality, and close collaboration with HR, finance, and external agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, review, and process employee time and attendance records.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation components.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and tax regulations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, payslips, and related documents.
- Collaborate with finance and HR to reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and personal affairs.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation and compliance.
- Maintain employee records in the HR information system and manage leave requests.
- File payroll tax returns and support payroll audits.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support system automation.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in payroll processing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and external partners.
