Plant Controller – Finance & Cost Management

About the role

The Plant Controller supports the plant manager by delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting and advice. This position ensures that the plant’s financial performance aligns with the overall business strategy and that all financial processes are compliant with Moroccan GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely monthly management reports for local and regional leadership.
• Maintain cost data in SAP, including bills of materials, standard and actual costs.
• Monitor working‑capital drivers, cash flow, and coordinate physical inventories and stock‑count adjustments.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting, providing variance analysis and risk commentary.
• Develop, evaluate and monitor capital investment proposals and post‑implementation reviews.
• Oversee the monthly financial close, including inventory reconciliation, fixed‑asset control, accruals and indirect tax.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, Moroccan GAAP and support external audits and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3‑7 years of finance/business experience in a global or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with production units and finance processes.
• Experience in controlling, preferably within food or agri‑business.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP cost modules.
