About the role
The CBS department at UM6P is seeking a highly motivated researcher for a postdoctoral position focused on sustainable hydrometallurgy. The role involves developing recycling processes to separate and recover valuable and critical metals from various waste streams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct experimental studies on model hydrometallurgical processes.
- Develop sustainable recycling methods for the separation and recovery of valuable and critical metals from diverse waste streams.
- Collaborate with the CBS research team to integrate findings into larger green process engineering projects.
- Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
Required profile
- Highly motivated researcher with a strong interest in sustainable hydrometallurgy.
- Qualified to hold a postdoctoral position (typically a PhD in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
