About the role

The CBS department at UM6P is seeking a highly motivated researcher for a postdoctoral position focused on sustainable hydrometallurgy. The role involves developing recycling processes to separate and recover valuable and critical metals from various waste streams.

Key responsibilities

Design and conduct experimental studies on model hydrometallurgical processes.
Develop sustainable recycling methods for the separation and recovery of valuable and critical metals from diverse waste streams.
Collaborate with the CBS research team to integrate findings into larger green process engineering projects.
Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.

Required profile

Highly motivated researcher with a strong interest in sustainable hydrometallurgy.
Qualified to hold a postdoctoral position (typically a PhD in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline).
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
