Product Engineer

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental operators. We are looking for an ambitious Product Engineer who will turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software. You will work closely with founders, designers, and property‑manager users to define, build, and iterate on features that automate and scale rental operations.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer workflows, identify friction points, and prioritize problems worth solving.
• Design, develop, test, and ship end‑to‑end features across frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Python, FastAPI).
• Create intuitive user interfaces and operational dashboards that simplify complex rental processes.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that eliminate repetitive tasks such as cleaning scheduling and guest communications.
• Develop AI‑powered features using LLMs and OpenAI APIs to automate guest interactions and support pricing decisions.
• Design and maintain reliable APIs and integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, and Google.
• Measure product impact through user feedback and usage data, iterating to improve adoption and efficiency.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security, and scalability as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, or comparable technologies.
• Deep understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architecture.
• Product mindset with curiosity about user needs and willingness to engage directly with customers.
• Confidence to own outcomes, work independently, and iterate quickly.
• Interest in AI, automation, and operational efficiency.
