Production Development Manager – Moulay Region

About the role

The Production Development Manager (PDM) will lead the execution of the production plan for the Moulay region, overseeing a network of growers and ensuring key performance indicators such as yield per hectare, cost per kilogram, total production, and quality are met. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the PDM aligns regional activities with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the five‑year production plan, guaranteeing required hectares, volume, and fruit quality.
• Manage the regional grower base, ensuring timely communication, compliance with food‑safety and SEI standards, and alignment with company mission.
• Anticipate and mitigate constraints (weather, resources, plant material) and feed short‑term flow data to DEMEA.
• Develop and track grower financial performance, cost models, and profitability targets (EBM, OI, IRR).
• Facilitate quarterly Grower Board meetings and weekly commercial sessions to involve growers in decision‑making.
• Introduce new genetics and production systems to optimize genetic potential.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in agricultural production, agronomy, or related fields.
• Proven ability to work closely with agronomy, QA, and grower‑service teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for cost analysis, financial modeling, and KPI monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate growers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
