Project Launch Manager

About the role

The Project Launch Manager drives the planning, coordination and execution of new plant or product launches, ensuring all stakeholders, resources and timelines are aligned for a smooth go‑live. This role acts as the primary link between engineering, manufacturing, quality and the customer during the launch phase.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain launch readiness of the plant, supporting lean line design workshops and continuous improvement of the value‑stream map.
• Lead PT/MPT/EMPT/customer events, providing equipment support and serving as the plant point of contact.
• Review, agree and escalate functional items across quality, logistics, engineering, finance and HR.
• Provide feedback on plant needs such as equipment parts, layout constraints and value‑stream requirements.
• Maintain the launch book and KPIs, recording all run data from project start.
• Lead the handover of the new project to Manufacturing Operations, ensuring seamless integration of processes and systems.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and other departments to ensure alignment.
• Identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes while ensuring regulatory and GMP compliance.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or BAC+5 in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of engineering process experience, preferably in automotive systems and automatic assembly.
• Proven ability to lead change using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience driving corrective actions.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and fluency in written and spoken English.
