QA Lead – Test Automation and Strategy

About the role

As a QA Lead at IDEMIA Public Security, you will join an agile team of around twenty professionals to define testing strategies, mentor QA engineers, and ensure high‑quality software deliveries for the MBIS application and other strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define testing strategy and ensure comprehensive functional test coverage based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Write, review, and validate test plans, BDD/Gherkin scenarios, and test campaigns.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using Java, Cucumber, Selenium or Playwright, while performing manual testing when needed.
• Oversee test campaign execution, track defects, and drive resolution to closure.
• Mentor and upskill QA engineers on testing tools, automation frameworks, and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the test automation framework and overall QA processes.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software test automation, including QA lead responsibilities.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement.
