Quality Assurance Engineer (Aviation)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will support the Quality Assurance Manager in executing, monitoring and following up on audit plans, ensuring compliance with Air Arabia, DAC, CAA and other regulatory standards across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Quality Assurance System for internal procedures, processes and product audits in line with DAC/CAA/CARs/IOSA/EASA requirements.
• Participate in updating and communicating regulatory changes in manuals such as MOE and CAMO.
• Prepare and execute the internal annual audit plan, coordinating schedules with department heads.
• Gather historical data and documentation, identify root causes and monitor corrective actions.
• Assist in developing QA policies, procedures and awareness materials (bulletins, presentations, workshops).
• Conduct safety and quality audits of suppliers, vendors, MROs, fuel companies and other external partners, recording findings in Q‑Pulse.
• Review reliability reports (MDD/ADD/CDL) and produce conformance reports for regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks (DAC, CAA, IOSA, EASA).
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, engineering and management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Q‑Pulse audit management system.
