Quality Control Supervisor – Manufacturing

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead manufacturing quality activities within an assigned area. The role ensures products meet quality, cost, delivery and service standards while fostering a strong quality culture and positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily quality control operations on the shop floor, ensuring inspections, tests and measurements follow defined procedures and control plans.
• Manage first‑piece, in‑process and final inspections, and guarantee proper use and calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
• Identify, analyze and report non‑conformities; lead root‑cause analyses (5 Why, Fishbone) and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and other quality standards; keep quality records, inspection reports and traceability documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Supervise, coach and train quality control inspectors and team leaders, allocate resources and organize shifts.
• Analyze quality data and KPIs (scrap rate, defect rate, PPM) and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve process capability.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or equivalent standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and results‑driven with strong presentation abilities.
