Quality Engineering Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Lead to own the quality strategy for a fintech platform. This hands‑on role combines leadership with deep technical involvement, driving AI‑agent‑assisted testing and ensuring robust test coverage across JavaScript/TypeScript microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall quality and test strategy across the platform.
• Supervise AI‑agent testing capability, building prompts, frameworks, and tooling.
• Own functional, integration, and end‑to‑end test coverage for APIs and critical services.
• Maintain quarterly quality roadmaps and six‑month forecasts aligned with engineering goals.
• Lead service acceptance, assess deliverables against criteria, and evaluate readiness risks.
• Track and report quality metrics such as defect leakage, MTTR, and automation execution rates.
• Reduce testing technical debt by addressing flaky tests and outdated frameworks.
• Build and maintain performance and load testing using tools like JMeter.
• Monitor emerging testing technologies and integrate useful methods.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and cell members.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance or test engineering.
• Proven ability to lead testing initiatives in a microservices environment.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven testing approaches.
