Retail Systems & Applications Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Retail Systems & Applications Specialist to ensure the reliability, security and performance of the core business applications supporting our Moroccan retail operations. The role bridges business users, internal technology teams and external vendors, providing day‑to‑day support and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain critical retail applications covering point‑of‑sale, inventory, order management, finance and supply‑chain processes.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve application incidents, system errors and user issues.
• Monitor application performance, manage user access, permissions and configuration settings.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and propose system enhancements.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches and new implementations with regional and global technology teams.
• Liaise with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Participate in testing, deployment and user‑acceptance activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, support procedures and application records.
• Assist with integrations and data flows between local and international platforms.
• Provide guidance and training to end‑users on new functionality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application support or business systems within retail, distribution, logistics or a multi‑site environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a service‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Degree or professional qualification in IT, computer science, information systems or related field.
