Quality Manager (m/f/d) – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

SEBN Morocco is looking for a Quality Manager for its location in Salé, responsible for the overall quality management system in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role reports to executive management and covers customer and supplier quality, audits, product safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and statutory requirements
• Define and run the quality strategy, including objectives, KPIs and their sustainable achievement
• Lead, develop and empower the quality function and promote a high-performance quality culture
• Ensure stable production processes and continuous improvement of product and process quality in series production
• Handle customer and supplier quality, complaints, audits and non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
• Approve processes, products and changes (e.g. sampling, engineering changes) and monitor quality KPIs
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen, and ensure quality across the value chain from incoming goods to delivery
• Manage internal and external audits, test concepts and validation procedures, and act as Product Safety & Conformity Representative (PSCR)
• Stop production and delivery when critical quality deviations occur, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards (e.g. ISO)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, optionally a Master's, in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in quality management within automotive manufacturing
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing and developing international teams
• Experience in customer and supplier quality, audits and complaint handling
• Fluent French and English required; additional languages such as German are a plus
• Availability for business travel

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality standards and systems, and of automotive production processes (wiring harness ideal)
• Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant quality systems and tools
