Quality Manufacturing Leader

About the role

KOSTAL, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Leader for its Moroccan site. The role focuses on defining, documenting, and verifying containment actions, driving problem‑solving initiatives, and ensuring process capability across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document and verify containment or sorting actions for process‑related issues.
• Manage overall outcomes, report results and approve closure of containment actions.
• Create and maintain Quality Notifications, capture associated costs and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead and support 8D/PR problem‑solving teams, monitor deadlines and escalate issues when necessary.
• Measure and evaluate process capability using tools such as CMK and PPK, and drive improvements.
• Document, approve and verify rework activities, ensuring effectiveness.
• Monitor production scrap, report levels and root causes, and participate in scrap‑reduction initiatives.
• Analyze process trends, identify defect patterns and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide final approval for product or process changes after PPAP validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of quality experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience in production quality, problem‑solving and cross‑functional coordination.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CMK and PPK statistical tools.
• Experience with 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Understanding of PPAP processes and documentation.
• Ability to create and manage Quality Notifications.
