Quality Production Engineer

About the role

The Quality Production Engineer will lead the quality inspector team for the assigned segment, ensuring that customer specifications are consistently met. You will act as a bridge between production and quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives and handling non‑conformities from audits.

Key responsibilities

• Train and inform quality inspectors on customer specifications and quality standards.
• Manage non‑conformities arising from customer audits, communicating action plans and findings promptly.
• Apply HOS (Hirschmann Operational System) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) tools such as 5S, Kanban, Zero‑Defect strategy, and 8D.
• Participate in new project development and serial transfer activities.
• Support the production plant with quality improvements through process audits.
• Maintain knowledge of quality norms (IATF16949, VDA, CSR) and use SAP and customer portals for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years (BAC +5) in Industrial, Mechanical or Technical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a quality engineer in an industrial setting.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent problem‑solving, prioritisation, and conflict‑management abilities.
• Organised, stress‑resistant, proactive and capable of working independently.
