Ramp Agent

About the role

As a Ramp Agent you will ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft, unit load devices (ULDs) and trucks at the Gateway (CAS‑GTW) hub. Working under the guidance of a Team Leader or Supervisor, you will follow DHL operational procedures, safety regulations and quality standards to support the company's global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Test all ramp and ground‑handling equipment before operations begin.
• Operate ramp machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Load and unload aircraft, ULDs and trucks according to operational instructions.
• Handle, store and perform post‑operation checks of ramp equipment.
• Support additional operational activities such as cleaning and housekeeping (5S).
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area at all times.
• Report any damage, defect, incident or operational error immediately to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with DHL‑specific safety, security and operational processes.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented, dedicated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Quality‑conscious with a strong safety mindset.
• Basic computer literacy is a plus.
• Knowledge of logistics or aviation is an asset.
• Fluent in French (reading, writing, speaking); English proficiency is advantageous.
• Valid category B driving licence.
