Receptionist

About the role

The School Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff at Khalil Gibran School Rabat. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage front‑desk operations and support the administrative team to ensure smooth daily functioning of the school office.

Key responsibilities

• Greet parents, visitors and students professionally and courteously.
• Answer, direct and manage incoming calls, emails and general inquiries.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Head of Section, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and maintaining records.
• Assist in organising school events, meetings and parent communications.
• Maintain accurate student and staff records, attendance logs and other confidential information.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations with teachers, assistants and administrative staff.
• Support onboarding of new staff and student admissions in collaboration with the section head.
• Update internal systems, databases and communication platforms as required.
• Handle urgent or unexpected situations calmly, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold the school’s values and promote a supportive environment for the community.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Administration, Education, Communication or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a school environment or a similar administrative role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Proactive, organized and able to work in a multicultural setting.
