Reservations Supervisor – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor ensures accurate management of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes for a luxury hotel. This role supports new employee onboarding, implements reservation procedures, and maintains high service standards for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Accommodate and document special requests while answering questions about property facilities and services.
• Utilize the reservation system to input and retrieve data, and set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and resolve guest issues or escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related reservation or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
