Sales Advisor – Part‑time Retail

About the role

Join the newly opening Samsonite store at Cotswold Designer Outlet as a part‑time Sales Advisor. You will deliver exceptional customer service, showcase Samsonite’s product range and help maximise sales while maintaining a tidy, welcoming store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice and product demonstrations to customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company procedures.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and phone queries in line with company policy.
• Maintain store presentation, including merchandising, stockroom organisation and daily cleaning.
• Receive and check deliveries, report discrepancies and assist with stock counts.
• Monitor sales targets, promotions and after‑sales service information.
• Ensure security of stock and cash, reporting any issues promptly.
• Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, opening/closing the store and recording messages.

Required profile

• Cheerful, polite and efficient attitude towards customers.
• Reliability in attendance – arrive 10 minutes before shift and notify manager of any lateness.
• Ability to work 4 hours per week with flexibility for overtime.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Willingness to follow company policies on security, health & safety and store standards.
