Senior Contract Manager – International

About the role

Scalian is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead the contractual aspects of two railway signalling and telecommunications projects in Morocco. The role focuses on claims management, risk mitigation and ensuring compliance with international contract standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, describe, quantify and evaluate opportunities and risks across the two railway projects.
• Analyse, draft and negotiate contractual documentation and develop claim strategies.
• Prepare, manage and negotiate robust claims to recover extra‑costs or obtain extensions of time.
• Collect, prepare and organise supporting documents and evidence in line with contractual deadlines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contractual records and coordinate with other departments to meet contractual requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of high‑level experience in contract analysis, drafting and negotiation.
• Fluent in English and French (essential).
• Experience on large infrastructure or railway projects and familiarity with FIDIC, World Bank or similar international contracts is highly valued.
